Due to poverty, Dev Kumar Verma who belongs to Dhanbad, Jharkhand, could not go to an English medium school. Even under tough circumstances , he worked hard on English, did MBA , gave competitive exams and finally became Deputy Manager in BCCL , the same office in which his father was working as a fourth grade staff.
Now he is working for others and has opened an english medium school,” Pathshala” which is free of cost for poor children. With growing popularity of the school, children from far off places also come to his school.
